Get your hair as flat as possible. if your hair id thick long I recommended the you should cornrow your hair backward . If your hair is short or fine to medium wearing a wig cap should be enough to flatten your hair.
Place The Lace Wig On Your Head
Once your natural hair is flattened'
Position the wig on your head, just in front of your hairline.
Make sure that the lace is properly placed, move the your head from one side to another to ensure your wig is placed correctly..
Cut the extra lace in the same shape of your natural hairline.
Don't worry if the lace is not cut perfectly straight, as this will create a fake moon-shape hairline.
All Belle Noir Beauty Full Lace and Lace Front Wig Units can be worn glue-less and come with have combs attached in the middle and back.
Secure the comb into your hair then adjust the strap at the back to get a snug fit.
Securing your Wig
There a many options from tape, styling gel.
You can even use a thread and needle and sew in a few sections of the wig into your natural hair for extra security.
Just saying.
But for the purpose of this article we will be focusing on adhesive.
Now its up to you which one you use, however the instructions are pretty much to same across the bord. Always follow the instructions on how to apply glue.
I always recommend for a new installation that you make the position lightly with a skin coloured eyeliner before applying the adhesive/Glue.
This will act as your adhesive guide.
Apply the adhesive across the temples.
Only in the space that you have marked in between your natural hair line and the lace. This method will ensure a natural hairline and no overflowing adhesive.
Wait until the adhesive is tacky..this is approximately 3 minutes but may vary depending on the product.
Place the wig on your head.
Following the eyeliner pencil path around your head to glue down.
Don’t put glue on your hair or any area you have not marked.
Put your wig on top of the glue , using a tail comb press your Wig Unit down.
Try down your hair with a scarf or wrap.
Wait around 30 minutes before combing or brushing the wig.
Use Tweezers
If you feel that your hairline is too thick, use a pair tweezers to pull out your hair strands from behind the hairline.
Pull out one strand at a time.
Don’t pluck in a straight line as it may lead to bald spots.
Pull the strands out from random rows in every section.
After every few strands, put your tweezers down and see if your hairline is improving.
When its gone , its gone!!!
Leave some of your baby hair out at the front of your wig.
How to Achieve a Long-lasting Lace Wig
When washing your BELLE NOIR BEAUTY wig a normal conditioner and shampoo is fine.
However, it is important to protect natural hair oil, so choose a product that you can use on both. Your lace wig will certainly last longer. If you’ re wearing your wig unit to bed, use a scarf or a hair wrap. This will reduce sleep friction on the wig rubbing on the pillowcase.
